Elizabeth Frink exhibition

I went to see the Elizabeth Frink Wild exhibition at the RWA in Bristol. Outside was a lovely sculpture of a wild boar which reminded me of my holiday in Spain.

Her drawings, sculptures and prints were amazing and rare to see such skill. The Giacometti like figure with no arms was quite disturbing and the howling dog really sad. I liked the flirty humour of the horse and basicness of the monkey.

I can see her own personality and thoughts subconsciously or consciously coming out of her work.

The exhibition of her sculptures and prints was very thoughtfully laid out and interesting to see from all view points. Annoyingly the RWA never have a brochure on their exhibitions so I took some photos.
